I support the model policies requiring public elementary and secondary schools provide parental notification and review of instructional materials that include sexually-explicit.    Parents have a fundamental right to oversee the materials used and subject matter broached with their children while attending school or school related programs.    The role of the parents to determine what they deem as in the best interest of their child(ren) needs to be respected and upheld.  I would also ask that there will be specific actions in this document that every school must take to make sure that parents are given every opportunity to review any of the above-mentioned materials first, before any instruction is initiated with their child(ren).
