I just want to say that I support these critically important model policies in order to protect children from bad sexual content at schools and to respect the rights of parents to determine whether their children are exposed to this content.  Parents have the fundamental right to make these decisions.  Also, the parents are in the best position to know what is appropriated for their unique children.  Please also make sure by this document that there are certain specific actions that every school MUST TAKE in order to ensure that sexually explicit materials are correctly identified and SEEN  BY PARENTS FIRST.  It concerns me that unless certain standards are mandated (more than providing examples or suggestions), many schools will find ways around what they consider to be mere guidance.  Thank you.
