Parental notification of any instructional material that includes sexually explicit content and/or information will be available to all parents for their approval prior to teaching this content to any student. I ask also that it be made clear to all parents when and where this curriculum can be reviewed and where they can express their approval or disapproval.

The school board should not have the final say or approval regarding any sexual-related curriculum without obtaining the parents approval first. In addition, parents should be respected for the decisions regarding their own children and have the ability to opt-out their child from any objectionable material.
