Masks inhibit the communication between myself and my preschool students and increase germs in our classroom as many masks are soiled. I am trained to minimize the spread of illness in the classroom and can facilitate a safe environment without any mask mandates. 
Let teachers decide for themselves whether to mask, and allow us to teach children in a way that promotes learning, development and the students’ positive self-esteem.
