As someone who went through k-12 schooling in both fcps and pecs this is absolutely needed. Both counties pride themselves on the diversity of their students yet do nothing to support and protect their black and brown students. This is the only way that we can reach equity, teachers who are majority white need to learn how to connect and best communicate with the poc students body.
