As a resident of Fairfax county I fully support this program to ensure that all teachers in our local public schools are teaching students, many of whom represent a number of cultures and backgrounds, are all well versed in cultural training as to not leave any students feeling unsafe at their place of learning. Ensuring that all students are safe and welcome in their schools is a priority because this is essential to learning.
