In order for this country to progress positively, cultural competency training is highly needed. The Curriculum has always only benefitted white students and erases so much of this country’s true history. CCT needs to be implemented for the sake and security of black, indigenous, students of color. Our school systems cannot continue to make bipoc students feel unsafe.
