“American’s are evil” was the take away from a lesson given by a fourth grade teacher. When I asked the teacher about this take away she seemed okay with his take away and stated many students take away different things from the lessons. What!!! This is not okay. This teacher was promoted to the equity team for the county. Again, What! We do not need teachers thinking it is okay to teach these lessons that are encouraged in this curriculum. My children are not evil because they were born in America.
