No mandates - informed consent must be observed

My husband and I are opposed to the implementation of mandates for all vaccines, biologics and pharmaceutical products, including the current gene-manipulation injections that have been developed to mitigate symptoms of SARS-CoV-2.  The covid injections specifically have only been made available under Emergency Use Authority by the FDA and are still an experimental technology never used before on the human population as a whole.  The United States participated in developing the Nuremburg Code which sets forth the principle that experimental medical procedures require the informed consent of the participant, without intervention of force or coercion.  Since the safety and efficacy profiles of these products have not been definitively established, they are still experimental and cannot be mandated.  In principle, ALL vaccines carry the risk of adverse reactions (including death), and therefore should never be mandated by our federal, state or local governments, coerced through restrictive social policies or practices, or required as a condition of employment.  Where there is risk of personal injury or death, individuals must be given the right of informed consent or refusal.
