An Adamant No to Mandatory Vaccines

Do not allow this to move forward, stand up and say no to absolutes!  A forced vaccination mandate is unacceptable and irresponsible.  It is not the job of the government to overstep by acting as the health authority and decision-maker for the teachers and the students.   Health issues and decisions are a private matter of the individual, as such, this privacy is so valued that it is given protections under the law.  This protection specifically requires signed consent by the individual for any release of their information. Health matters need to be left to those that are licensed and trained to practice in the medical field.  The medical professionals work to not only heal their patients but also to educate their patients about what is safe for their individual body and health conditions which vary greatly from patient to patient. Hence, the reason for medical exemptions to exist for other vaccinations. The medical safety of the individual is a paramount factor in the decision process. Doctors have taken an oath to do no harm to their patients and as such must honor this at risk of malpractice.  Ultimately, mandating the COVID and other vaccines, abandons privacy laws, the right to consent and removes the educated medical professional from the decision making and care plan of each person.  This is medically irresponsible and unethical.

Now, as this pertains to the children of our state, each one is an individual that is entitled to these protections, which are exercised by their parents or legal guardians. You would add stripping the parent of their parental rights to the list of grievances listed above.  Do not make the schools become a place that acts against the parents and polices forced mandates rather than a place that works with the parents to achieve the successful education of our youth. Allow the teachers and the students to focus on education and allow the parents and doctors to do their job of deciding what is the correct and safest medical choices for their child and patient respectively.

Say no to this vaccine mandate request and all other mandates that are forced and require absolutes. Thank you.
