No vaccine mandate; encourage only

As someone who chose to get vaccinated and also vaccinated my teens, I’m strongly against any mandate despite being pro-vaccine. Health decisions, especially for a new vaccine, should be private between parents/ students and their doctors. Religious exemptions must be provided. Mandates do more harm than good became it sows distrust among the public toward government officials.  Many teachers, substitutes, bus drivers, and other school related staff have already quit causing shortages for our school children.  Vaccine Mandates for kids will further worsen public school enrollment as many will pull their kids out.  Provide education on vaccine benefits and encourage vaccination, but do not mandate it for kids because it will cause unintended negative consequences to our public schools.
