What happened to our guarantee of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? At what point did our nation completely lose the "mandates" that we were founded on? As a parent of 3 children, it is my responsibility to teach them to make wise decisions and understand the consequences for their actions. Forcing rules upon them for no reason other than simply someone said it totally nullifies my parental responsibility. I refuse to put that responsibility in the hands of the government instead. It is their freedom and mine to chose life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and I will fight to ensure those freedoms for them. If that means voting out those in government that would try to steal their freedoms, or changing my schedules and life to be able to homeschool them and teach them myself, then so be it. My children will continue to enjoy these freedoms that our forefathers faught and died to give!
