As the title of my comment reads, I thank Virginia ahead of time because I believe Virginia will do the right thing and make available health care benefits to the partners of gay, bisexual, lesbian, & transgender people.  Why is this the right thing?  Because it is important for the state of Virginia, and society in general, to acknowledge GBLT people and their responsible, committed relationships in each and every community.

Remeber, if you think you don't know anyone who's gay, you are most likely mistaken, because so many GBLT people are living a kind of underground existence due to fear of society's judgment, not to mention reprisal.  It is my belief that everyone  has either a brother, sister, friend, co-worker, or even a spouse or parent who is a member of one of these minorities.  Someone you love is gay!
