I appreciate the ability to provide a comment in support of this action.  Aside from doing the right thing and allowing state employees to insure their loved ones, many of whom cannot afford health insurance on their own, it is the right business decision.  There are not many times that we can provide a significant benefit to our state employees at NO cost to the state.  This will improve our ability to recruit and hire the best employees, which is good for Virginia and our taxpayers.  It's about time.
