Yes, state employees should be able to get healthcare insurance through their employer for themselves and one other adult resident, plus minor or handicapped family members. No, it should not go beyond that; adults beyond the employee and one partner should go get their own so as not to overprice the service for taxpayers. Definitely, it should be extended to the active partner of the employee regardless of gender (and the 'marriage amendment' and DOMA should be scrapped). Let's all grow up and respect what consenting adults do behind closed doors, save the persecution for rapists, child molestors, and other real criminals. Make homophobic violence a capital crime!
