As an alumna and current staff member at the University of Virginia, I have seen some fabulously qualified individuals either decline job offers at UVa or leave the University because they could not get health insurance for the otherwise qualified adults in their household.  This is not only an embarrassment to the state but also a huge disadvantage to the major state institutions of higher education who must compete for top faculty and administrators with other colleges and universities who DO extend such coverage.

Given that there will be no impacts from this regulatory action on the state budget, I strongly support this measure.
