Sadly, the right wing has captured the minds of too many Christians and they seem to have forgotten the truth and the light espoused by the Son of God.  In addition, these same people want to force religion into our federal, state and local governments and ignore what the Constitution has to say about the separation of church and state.  During the next four years, VIrginia is in for a rude awakening.  Any minority should be frightened at the prospect of a graduate of Regent University and a follower of Pat Ropbertson sitting in the Executive Mansion in Richmond. Didn't anyone read McDonnell's treatise  written as part of his classes at Regent?  Do you think he has actually changed his mind?  Review his legislative record as a Delegate.  Check his actions (or lack of) as Attorney General. I am a twelfth generation Virginian (c. 1650) and, frankly, I am scared to death of him, Bolling and Cuchinelli.  These men are not Virginians as I know Virginians.  Their first targets are members of the LGBT community.  While this action should be signed into law as a matter of fairness, it will not happen.  Virginia, after all, has an amendment to its constitution, voted in by the citizens of the state, forbidding  same-sex marriage.  Workplace fairness for state employees isn't even on McDonnell's  "to do" list.  Virginia is a commonwealth.  Whatever happened to the concept of "the common wealth"?  Who is protecting us?
