Virginia is as so much further behind the times, even than this nation is. Even third world country's recognize the importants of same sex benefits. This has to start on a state level. Your uncle, sister, cousin, daughters and son's are gay. No matter what the political affiliation, nothing can change that. Sweep it under the rug and let someone else deal with it. You legistlators have to get home for the holiday (to spend with your family, your uncle, sister, cousin, daughters and son's that are gay) . What better gift to give our state THIS year. Speak Up! Now is the time and Virginia is the place. Show this nation that we are prepared to move forward to protect ALL citizens. It's a no brainer, but dont complicate it with the jargons of political speeches and wasted floor time. ACT. NOW!
