I am completely in favor of approving this proposal, which is not only humane but realistic, recognizing people's rights and needs just as it supports the diversity of our society that makes us stronger. Approving this proposal will also make Virginia more appealing to a wider variety of business interests and help colleges and universities compete for the strongest candidates for positions.
