Let's get Virginia closer to fair treatment for all workers by allowing domestic partner benefits. It's sad to think back on massive resistance and the actions Virginia took to avoid implementing racial equality. Let's not repeat that mistake - in 20 years all the people calling for discrimination will look silly, and it will be hard to relate to how they felt. This time, let's try to stay near the front of the equality curve, instead of dead last.
