Proposal no extra cost to taxpayer and does NOT undermine

As a small business owner and a happily married heterosexual female with children, I fully support this measure.  From reading the text, my understanding is it will NOT increase taxpayer cost since additional premium is paid by the employee.  This will not encourage traditional families to break up, nor does it encourage homosexuality.  It only makes sure that more people can be fairly covered by insurance instead of adding to our cost of healthcare through unpaid medical bills and bankrupcy court.  I understand some people are homophobic or have a religious-based bias against this bill, but not all people of religion (including myself) agree with the homophobic view of things.  Many of us focus on love and justice (fairness), not a narrow view of someone's interpretation of the Scriptures.  The many different interpretations of various religious scriptures and the constitutional right to freedom of religion are why we need to maintain and guard our separation of church and state.  Your religious beliefs should not interfere with fairness in our state's or country's laws and policies, as this country is for ALL of us, not just those deemed "worthy" by the religious beliefs founded on narrow interpretations (otherwise we could become a variation of Saudi Arabian style governance ;-) ).  So stop the fear mongering, actually read the text and you may see that it is fair and appears to have safeguards against potential abuse, and will in the long run benefit the Commonwealth by attracting and keeping high quality employees (and I don't care what their sexual orientation is as long as they do quality work).
