As a long-time resident of the Commonwealth, I have watched laws become enacted that make it difficult to call this state come any more.  If you listen to naysayers on this legislation, you will alienate even more current fair-minded residents and ensure that residents from other state dare not step foot in Virginia.

Extending health coverage to another adult living in the household of a state employee would ensure health coverage for more Virginians, bring the state to a more equal footing with prevailing benefits practices of employers of choice and not cost taxpayers a single penny.

I urge to pass this proposal for the benefit of ALL Virginians.
