More than half of the top employers in Virginia already offer this level of beneifts, and the Commonwealth needs to get in line.  There are thousands of famlies that don't fit into what the state has defined as "legitimate", so we need to expand this to help them care for their loved ones.  It is our responsiblity as ciitizens of Virginia who reap the benefits of it's government and workers to make sure they have the same opportunites in the private sector.  I am in support of this measure.

Also, as a side note, measures like these wouldn't be neccesarily if Virginia stood up for marriage equality.
