For those in opposition...

I ask why? Are you opposed to this based on the fact that you think this in some way makes homosexuals more equal?  Don't fret. Even under this new legislation an adult living with another adult UVA employee (read: GAYS) is still subject to pay the employer and employee costs of the chosen healthcare plan, as no fees will be subsidized by taxpayer dollars.  This means that homosexuals are still legally inferior to you; they'll just pay over $300 more to have health insurance than the sanctimoniously married heterosexuals.  Which is probably good because they'll need insurance when they get the gay plague they are all due for, right?  Oh and heaven forbid they have children, then they'll have to pay even more!  Where does all of this extra money go to?  Oh yeah, the insurance companies. We all know how much they are out for the better good of the Commonwealth.  It's a win-win for every conservative, so why oppose?!?
