Thanks for this opportunity to comment and for the thoughtful and effective approach this legislation is taking.  It is good for all concerned that state employees be able to include coverage for the people in their households that they love, live with and care for.  There would be measurable benefits at the University of Virginia for us to be able to recruit and retain the very best qualified candidates if this legislation were to pass. This improvement is badly needed and very timely.
