This is not about homosexual rights or stealing money from the government.  It is ONLY about making adequate health insurance available to as many of our fellow Virginians as possible.  As someone who is familiar with both state and federal medical systems I firmly believe it is time for a DRASTIC change.  For those people who complain about having to cover the costs of additionally insured persons, shame on you!  I suggest you compare the costs of state subsidized (not fully funded because these employees and their dependents WILL have to pay into their insurance, even military personnel pay a portion of their salaries into the government funds which cover their medical expenses) health care coverage to the continually rising costs of health care due to patients using the ER and Urgent Care facilities for EVERY medical issue because they cannot afford to pay for regular medical insurance and standard, preventative medical checks.
