I am in full support of this proposal. It is budget neutral, since the employee will bear the full cost of the premium for a qualifying household member. It will assist to attract skilled workers to the state who enjoy similar benefits in other states or with other employers. Given the rising number of uninsured in the nation, I laud the proposal as it will offer coverage to persons currently among that number.
