A critical action in support of Virginia's employees and their families

YES!  This is a critical action in support of Virginia's employees and their families.  Allowing state employees to add other qualified adults to their insurance policies can only improve the well-being of our citizens, as it extends to thousands of unmarried employees a portion of the same benefits that married employees receive (at no added cost to the taxpayer).  It is a right and humane change in policy, one which will promote better health, encourage preventive care, contribute to a more thriving economy, and position colleges, universities, and all state agencies to be more competetive in hiring the brightest and best employees.  Now is the time.
