I believe this proposal is absolutely on the mark.  This is not only a matter of fairness but also a sound financial proposition.  It will help hiring and retention of qualified state employees.  And, as far as I can tell, it will ensure that the new generation of the work force--"the twentysomethings"--can feel secure and stand on their feet, without  beginning their career broke from Cobra or any such "coverage."

As a tax-payer, a state employee, a wife and a mother--I say YES to the proposal
