I welcome this legislation, and so should all Virginians.  Let's encourage more smart, productive people to work in Virginia schools, universities and government offices by assuring them that their domestic partners will have access to the same health care the state employees receive.  This is a civil rights issue, especially as long as we deny the right to legal marriage to some of our fellow citizens.  It's about time Virginia did the right thing!
