I want to express my opposition to Governor Kaine’s proposal. 

1. The proposal to expand health care benefits beyond marriageand family is a clear violation of the Constitution of Virginia. This has been supported for several hundred years on the definition of marriage 1 man & 1 woman and reaffirmed in our vote in 2006. While some may be the care takers of immediate family members this is not Kaine is trying to present in his proposal.
2. This  expansion of benefits has to increase the cost of health insurance for the state and consequently, the taxpayer. Even though proponents, disagree despite their claims.
