Health benefits for same sex couples

To treat same sex couples the same as married couples undermines the purpose and societal benefits of marriage.  Marriage in most cases creates children and benefits allowed for it helps in the raising of children and protecting the family unit.

This should be our concern, not social experimentation. Encouraging homosexuals to adopt is an  abomination and until this this issue became politicized it was well recognized to be unhealthy by psychologists. Benefits for married couples encourages marriage which is a good thing.

Benefits for two independent working individuals who are living together makes no sense and is a waste of money, giving false credit that the union between same sexes is equivalent to marriage.   This is a waste of taxpayers money in troubled economic times .
