I believe that the proposal to expand health care benefits beyond marriage as defined in the Virginia marriage ammendment is a clear violation of the Constitution of Virginia.

Further I also believe that such an expansion of benefits, despite claims by proponents, has to increase the cost of health insurance for the state and consequently, the taxpayer.

Lastly I believe that such an expansion will undermine the role of traditional marriage in the commonwealth and be detrimental.
