Christians will stand together against this degradation of marriage and family. The proposal to expand health care benefits to state employees and anyone living with them is a clear violation of the marriage amendment and the Constitution of Virginia.

The resulting tax increases this would necessitate tax increases which would in turn place undue hardship on families in a state which already has in excess of 8% unemployment and serious budget shortfalls.

This proposal is clearly political and does not take the welfare of the majority of virginians into account!
