Governor Kaine’s health care benefit proposal to include benefits to state employees who are same-sex partners or anyone living in the house with the state employee is in opposition to Virginia’s constitution and Virginia’s stand for marriage.  In addition, the cost of the health care will fall on the state and therefore the taxpayer.  Remember, the government is paid for by tax money.  Whatever the government spends becomes the debt of “we the people” of America.  Eventually the money borrowed from other countries has to be repaid.
