The State already has problems meeting its budget and has cut back many services.  This is not the time to make the situation worse.  This appears to be dumping a larger problem on the new administration.  In addition to the benefits, it will create an ongoing administration problem and related costs.  This ahould be for the legislature to enact and fund if they feel the resources are there to pay for it.  It appears that becaus of the VA election results the governor wants to stick it to the VA residents.
