I support state employees being able to choose either to include either a spouse or an otherwise qualified adult on their state health insurance plan. 

This is a "win-win" situation. The commonwealth can attract the caliber of employees as a Fortune 500 company at no expense to the taxpayers.

Since the employee will be paying for the insurance, it's hard to believe that Virginia hasn't taken this action before. To take no action now would label us as backward and punitive.
