The proposal to expand health care benefits beyond marriage is a clear violation fo the Constitution of Virginia. Such an expansion of benefits, despite the claims of those pushing for it, will increase the cost of health insurance for the state which, of course, means the taxpayers. People together living under the same roof does not imply that they are in the same family.
