This proposal is wrong and irresponsible on so many levels.  It completely disregards the will of the majority of people who oppose gay marriage.  Further, even though I oppose any cohabitation outside of marriage, the policy also discriminates again heterosexual couples that live together.  It will also fiscally irresponsible to cover unmarried no state employees just because they live with a state employee in the current economic environment.  What's next?  Could the Commonwealth go the way of ACORN and cover underaged imported prostitutes because the live under the same roof with a state employee?  I believe this change will start us toward on that path.
