No to Kaine's Proposal

I am very upset that Tim Kaine would attempt to alter our state constitution by proposing that couples other than married couples receive state health benefits.  For same sex couples to receive the same benefits as married couples, would be to defy and make a mockery of the Marriage Amendment which was passed in our state.  We do not marry same sex couples.  We do not recognize marriages or civil unions of same sex couples entering Virginia from other states.  We should NOT offer them any type of insurance benefit.  Neither should we support with insurance any unmarried partner living with a heterosexual.  State benefits are for married couples - one man and one woman, and their families only.

Besides this, it would be impossible for health care costs and taxes not to rise,  This is a bad expansion of a good thing!  It should be defeated.  Bob McDonnell should NOT sign it when he becomes governor, and if he does, he will be going against those of us who voted for him
