I support the initiative to offer healthcare to those within the household of state employees. This measure recognizes the diversity of family groupings, and provides for their healthcare. It is a long overdue measure, and will benefit the state of Virginia in the long run. I also believe this measure closes an ethical gap in state health care coverage.
