I am in support of expanding state employee healthcare benefits to include otherwise qualified adults.  This would be a smart economic move in terms of attracting highly qulified individuals to state government and state university positions and would be a boon for those individuals currently in state employ who have an uninsured/underinsured partner.  This action could be much improved, however,  including state coverage of some portion of the cost of the insurance.
