I support this measure in the interest of fairness and in the interest of allowing all people equal access to health care. It will cost Virginia taxpayers nothing because, unlike health-care coverage available to spouses and children, the employee who selects coverage for an otherwise qualified adult will pay 100 percent of the premiums. There is no need to deny it; fairness is never out-of-fashion.
