Please don't listen to anyone who tells you this will cost taxpayers anything - it won't.

What it will do is allow me, as a business person, to attract top talent.  It may seem odd to many of you, but the younger generation doesn't believe in discrimination.  They don't want to live in a state that is discriminating against their friends and family. 

Everyone knows someone who is gay; they just don't know it.
