As a person in a committed (6+ years) relationship, residing in Virginia, and facing economic hardship due to my partner currently being in the 10% of unemployed Americans in this recession - no words can express my gratitude if this amendment passes.

If we're not allowed to marry, please at least let us share health benefits. Things are hard enough without having to pay extra for private insurance. Especially when the rest of the country can, by & large, share their spouse's insurance plan for a fraction of the cost.
