As the mother of a vaccine injured child, a Covid vaccine mandate would discriminate against him and remove his constitutional right to a free public education. Medical exemptions are IMPOSSIBLE to obtain because of how politicized this issue has become, and because even doctors who agree that the child should not be further vaccinated will not provide medical exemptions for fear of losing their medical license. Those of us with sincerely held religious beliefs against defiling our children’s susceptible bodies rely on the religious exemption to keep our kids in school. Until genetic testing is conducted to be able to determine who is at risk of vaccine injury, vaccination must be a choice, and exemptions must remain intact. This is a very real threat to some of us, and for our children who have a 99.99% recovery rate for Covid, we’d rather take our chances with the virus than risk further harm to our vaccine injured children.
