No vaccine mandates!

The science on the covid vaccine is not settled. Therefore it is vitally important to protect the concept of INFORMED CONSENT. Medical procedures or any kind should never be coerced or forced, but especially not when the survivability is so high and the vaccine so questionable.

Children are at virtually zero risk of dying from covid. It's a known fact. Many people already had covid- why should they be forced to get a vaccine when they already have natural immunity?

Further, there are many valid religious objections to the vaccine. It changes genetic material and contains (or was made using) questionable methods and ingredients. People have valid religious reasons for not taking the vaccine. If a parent is so worried about their child contracting the virus, they can have their child vaccinated or support their immune systems with supplements. Or better yet, they can go ahead and keep their child home for virtual schooling or homeschooling. As a parent, the petitioner knows (as all parents do)  that our kids get sick from school. It's inevitable. Covid is no different. Maybe they will get sick for a week, then they will be back at school. Don't force the teachers to take on this false fear.  Live and let live.
