NO MANDATES AND PROTECT RELIGIOUS EXEMPTION

I support medical freedom and feel that everyone should be able to make their own decisions regarding any kind of shot, but especially the Covid shot as long term effects are not even known.  People argue that requiring the Covid shot will make our schools safer.  Where is the science behind this?  Those who have had the Covid shot can still pass Covid to others around them.  If the shot is so effective, those people should not be concerned if those around them have gotten the shot or not.

We must protect the rights of our teachers, staff and students.  If they have a religious conviction against getting any shot, they should not be forced to get it.  If they have a medical condition that prohibits them from getting the shot, they should not be forced to take it (which I understand is in the proposed current policy).  If they have ideological beliefs against the shot, they should not be forced to take it.

We need to trust our fellow Americans to do what is best for themselves and their children.  Putting more mandates or requirements on teachers, staff and students will not end well for our schools.  We will lose good teachers and staff.

I hope that you will consider what I and many other concerned parents and citizens are saying.
