The Covid vaccine does not prevent Covid or the transmission of Covid. It only provides protection to the vaccinated individual to reduce severe symptoms, hospitalizations, and death. The flu vaccine has never been mandated and/or required because that vaccine works in a similar fashion. Children have very low risk of severe sickness. There is absolutely no reason to require children to be vaccinated. It should be recommended as the HPV vaccine is, but stop short at a requirement.
