Strongly Disagree from Parent and COVID Survivor

There is absolutely no reason to mandate this vaccine in children. Not enough studies have been performed to analyze the long terms effects in kids. A mandate for a condition that is 99+% survivable is not the answer. Mandating an experimental, rapidly developed vaccine without longitudinal studies to support its efficacy and safety in children is unethical. More research needs to be done into the impact upon developing bodies of these vaccines, as well as the lasting effects of natural (acquired) immunity post-COVID. The VAERS database is overflowing with examples of negative impact experienced by children from these vaccines--and children are the demographic least impacted by COVID-19 with a much higher recovery rate. Finally, examine the number of deaths attributed to the vaccine (via VAERS) and compare how those mortality rates exceed the FDA's own thresholds for EUA therapeutics, not to mention fully approved treatments. The vaccine is a therapeutic that should NOT be forced on children. That decision should be left to parents who know their child's medical history, in consultation with their pediatrician.
